Pastor Jenkins became the third Pastor of the Columbia Road Baptist Church in July of 1984.  He served as Assistant Pastor at the church from 1982-1984.  Pastor Jenkins was saved in 1962 at the age of nine years old. He is a lifelong resident of the greater Cleveland area, graduating from Parma High School in 1972. He grew up under the ministry of Dr. Roy Thompson at Cleveland Baptist Church. In 1974, he married his wife Kathy. They have three children: Al, Amanda, and Adam.

Under the leadership of Pastor Jenkins, the church has worked to become debt free and has been involved in several building projects. It has raised its missions giving tremendously, to the point that it now supports 51 missionaries all over the world. The Lord also gave Pastor Jenkins the vision to start a mission board and a Bible institute.

Pastor Jenkins is an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist preacher who takes a stand on the King James Bible as the inspired Word of God.

Dear Friends,

In 1998, while preaching in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at a Haitian Refugee Church, God placed a burden on my heart to be more involved in mission work. Columbia Road Baptist Church (CRBC) has always been a missions-minded church and God has blessed us because of that. But the Lord was leading us to take a more active role in His foreign and home mission work.

As a result of God’s leading, we now have Harvest Baptist Missions.  God has called out Brother Steve Williams from the membership of CRBC to direct this mission agency.

We look forward to doing our part in reaching people with the gospel around the world and assisting missionaries reaching the fields that God has called them to. Please continue to pray for the direction of the Holy Spirit in this endeavor.
