Therefore, these qualifications are of utmost importance. Applicants must
have:
A personal experience of salvation through the person and work Jesus Christ.
A consistent and separated Christian life and character, as witnessed by a
local body of believers.
A membership in a local, independent Baptist church.
A definite conviction of God’s call to missionary service.
A clear-cut, Scriptural motive, aim, and purpose regarding missionary work.
A genuine love and concern for lost souls of men both here and abroad.
A belief in the authority and trustworthiness of the Scriptures
A complete dependence upon God in faith and prayer as a means of guidance in
the ministry that He has called you into.
A humble and meek spirit, willing to serve others in an acceptable manner.
A well-rounded training for the ministry is crucial.
